Firstly, I want to say Thank you to everyone who follows Pumpernickel’s adventure or who has ever stopped by our convention booth. Your smiles and laughs have been the fuel for Pumpernickel and I and the light that has kept us going. I hope that you will continue to support us for many years to come and so it is only fair to let you all know that over the last few months I have been thinking and debating the path that should be taken with the World of Pumpernickel. There are so many stories, creatures, and books I want to bring to light and share and yet, despite many attempts, have not been able to find time to create them. Between work and my hectic life, there has been little time to create much more than one page of comic each week and lately even that has become a stretch.

Originally, the web-comic, House on a Hill Monster, was designed to fill in the time between Letter-comic releases. Unfortunately, this has not been the case since the web-comic has absorbed more of my time and resources than I could have predicted. After much discussion and various inputs from many fans and friends, I have decided to change the format of House on a Hill Monster.

I will CONTINUE to produce House on a Hill Monster, so please do not fear. The characters that you have grown to know and love as I much as I have will continue their adventures and escapades. Only they’ll be doing so in a written format. My plan is to release House on a Hill Monster as a novel divided in the chapters and volumes which will not only allow me the room to elaborate and bring more life into them and their world, but will allow me more time to create other artworks and stories such as another Pumpernickel Letter-comic adventure. I am currently planning on releasing volume 2 which will begin with Chapter 5 of House on a Hill Monster sometime in early Summer of next year.

That being said, I would like to ask all of you, especially you Meep lovers, to look forward to the premier of “Meepings” on New Year’s Day. “Meepings” will be a cutely humorous, but simply drawn online comic that features the antics of, well, Meeps. ^_^;;; It will be posted on the main page of the World of Pumpernickel website and will be updated 3 times a week on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.

I will be reformatting the main website during this month to make this possible. I will not be erasing the House on a Hill Monster area of the World of Pumpernickel website, but I will be reformatting it as well some time in January or February next year.

I will be compiling chapters 1-4 of the web-comic plus all the bonus comics and character profiles into a complete web-comic collection with the never before released Ask and Answer questions and insider notes/sketches. This collection will be available sometime in Spring 2010. The individual Chapters 1-3 will still be available for purchase individually online via Ka-blam’s Indy Planet website, but chapter 4 will only be printed in the complete collection book.
